Description

Would you like to know  more about the water quality of your local rivers and brooks?

Then join us for a FREE training workshop

Wednesday 30th January

10am—3:00pm

Wilmslow Parish Hall, Cliff Road, Wilmslow. SK9 4AA

We will be putting 'Citizen Science' into action and learning how to test water for chemicals, pH and temperature.  Attendees will be encouraged to ’Adopt a Spot’ along a river or stream near them, and become a River Guardian.

Everything you need to be a River Guardian will be provided.  All you need is sturdy outdoor clothes and shoes, and to be able to take water tests and record the results online at least once a month.

Lunch and light refreshments provided on the day.
