Carbon Landscape Interpretation

The Great Manchester Wetlands Partnership has now published an interpretation report for 'The Carbon Landscape' that beautifully sets the scene of area the partnership is concerned with. This area closely matches the Glaze sub-catchment of the River Mersey.

The Mersey Rivers Trust is a member of the Great Manchester Wetlands Partnership along with other partners such as Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Natural England, Wigan Borough Council, Warrington Borough Council, Salford City Council, Red Rose Forest, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Greater Manchester Ecology Unit, Wigan Conservation and Leisure Trust, Environment Agency, Woolston Eyes Conservation Group and several of the North West's Universities.  The Great Manchester Wetlands Partnership has submitted a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for the Carbon Landscape project.

The full interpretaion report can be seen here.
